Dr David Oetjen. B.D.S.

Dr David Oetjen B.D.S (Adelaide) is looking forward to getting reacquainted with all his previous patients as well as meeting many new ones.

Since leaving the practice in 2015 Dave first travelled north to Thursday Island in the Torres Straight. Here he worked as the Senior Dentist for 18 months, tutoring final year Dental students from JCU, re-establishing outreach dental services to the outer island and treating children with extensive problems under GA.

Dave also used his time to further explore his passion for spearfishing, freediving, fishing and exploring.

After this he emigrated to Germany to learn the language, culture and to advance his professional skills. He spent 5 years in total working and studying in Konstanz in Southern Germany which lies directly on the Swiss border. Here he specialised in ceramic restorations and full mouth rehabilitation, whilst still providing a full range of treatments for his German and Swiss patients. His extensive skills combined with his friendly and gentle nature made him a favourite amongst his patients and he’s sure you’ll be as pleased as they were.
